For years we have trained the same, learned the same and responded the same. For over 3 decades our staff worked tirelessly to create full-scale exercises that were time-consuming, expensive and required massive amounts of coordination to see them well-attended. Now, in the new and exciting age of virtual reality, we are still creating those realistic field exercises but are making them available nationwide through our online academy.

We are excited about the new year as we are seeing training projects with the ability to reach tens of thousands rather than a few dozen.

Our goal has always been to use the very best actors, equipment and props to create the most realistic scenarios in the industry and have been proud to have brought these scenarios to departments and agencies all across the country rather than hosting them in one location expecting departments to come to us.

Virtual reality is being used more in more for training first responders. Virtual reality has been proven to improve learner recall accuracy, learning retention, and takes less time to train. More importantly, VR experiences have been shown to be more effective for trainees to apply the skills they learned in real life scenarios.

Additionally, a safety study conducted on miners using VR for safety training showed a 43% reduction in lost time from incidents since using virtual simulations. Emergency response training is an important part of preparing first responders for the various scenarios they may encounter in the field from hazardous materials to medical emergencies.
